Holy Cross Priory - Toronto Canada

Since its founding in 1972 the goal of Holy Cross Priory, Toronto has been to live the Benedictine Life in a way that is appropriate to an urban setting. The Priory is located in the center of Metropolitan Toronto. We are just a short walk from historic High Park and from a subway station. We are in the largest Dioceses of the Canadian Church and in one of the largest urban centers in North America.

The Priory's ministries have been as diverse as the brothers who have lived here. Over the years we have served in parishes, as chaplains, engaged in advocacy, and taken an active part in various outreach ministries. These are an outgrowth of our basic commitment to serve God with our whole heart, and mind, and strength.

The Divine Office and Eucharist are the strong centers from which this ministry continues to grow.

Current ministries include parish missions, programmes in the Priory, teaching, spiritual direction, and an ongoing ministry of hospitality.
